Helping you tackle the cost of living crisis

Some external organisations who offer different forms of help and support to those who have been impacted by the rising costs are Citizens Advice BucksCost of Living SupportSocial phone tariffsAylesbury foodbank and Chiltern foodbankBuckinghamshire Council also has a dedicated section on their website with which provides information about support with food, fuel and household bills plus finding a place to keep warm. The Helping Hand team at Buckinghamshire Council help those who are experiencing a financial crisis.

We understand that the cost of living increase continues to impact everyone across our communities in lots of different ways. With this in mind, we've been working with our Welfare Team to create this Cost of Living Toolkit Booklet which can be found below. It is full of helpful tips, useful resources and some practical activities, including a pull-out cost saving tracker. Better Housing, Better Health are a charity that work locally to improve residents domestic warmth and improve the energy efficiency of your home.

They provide free, confidential advice on issues such as financial help you may be entitled to and changing your energy supplier.
