Choice based lettings
We operate a Choice Based Lettings (CBL) system to allocate our properties. It is called Bucks Home Choice - a scheme operated in partnership with Buckinghamshire Council and the Paradigm Housing Group.
If you are a homeseeker or an existing tenant, you can use Bucks Home Choice to find a suitable home.
We believe that CBL is the best way to ensure you are housed as quickly as possible, and in a property that you like.
To apply for social housing you will need to register online with Bucks Home Choice. You will also be able to view the latest list and bid on properties via the same site.
There is still a very high demand for social housing therefore properties are usually let to those with the highest housing need.
Furnished tenancies
We provide a limited number of furnished lettings. These properties come complete with most of the essential items you need to start your tenancy, such as a settee and bed, as well as a 'Welcome Pack' of kitchen essentials and bed linen.
There is a service charge on top of your rent to pay for the items, and you will be expected to keep them clean and in good condition. The furniture remains our property, and if you move out you cannot take it with you.
Mutual exchange
A mutual exchange is where two (or more) residents swap homes. If you want to downsize your home or move to another area, you may find that a mutual exchange is more convenient than the Choice based lettings scheme.
We have partnered with HomeSwapper to give you access to a national register of people wanting to swap homes.
If this is something of interest, all you need to do is register your details on the HomeSwapper website.
The HomeSwapper service will contact you when they have located potential swap details. When you have found an exchange partner, please contact us so we can check that you are eligible for the scheme and process your application. Part of this process will involve visiting you at your home.
