Food banks

If you are struggling to purchase food due to financial hardship, please contact our Welfare Team on 01296 732600 or email welfare@fairhive.co.uk for a foodbank referral to use the following:

Vineyard  - Open Tuesdays and Saturdays 10am until 12pm. Boxes of different types of food in a food bank

The food bank is supported by the Vineyard Church congregation, other churches around the Vale, local supermarkets, schools donating their Harvest Festival collections and various local organisations that have collection points in their offices. Emergency food parcels can be provided outside of regular times.

Trussell foodbanks - in Aylesbury and Wendover.

A nationwide network of food banks who partner with a wide range of professionals such as doctors, teachers, health visitors and social workers to identify people in need of support.

Bridge the Gap  - Southcourt Baptist Church by appointment only, weekdays from 9.30am - 12.30pm.

A community Café which serves free food once a month. Some months the day will be themed and different agencies will be there.

Brackley foodbank  - Limes Avenue Baptist Church – Referral only and a parcel will be delivered. Referrals made via phone -  01296 415327

A foodbank voucher isn't required the first time you contact them for a food parcel. After the first delivery a foodbank voucher is required, which will enable a further three deliveries. The voucher should be filled in by a sponsor such as a GP, school or social worker which they we can help you with.

Tabitha Foodbank - 3-5 Rickfords Hill, Aylesbury, Bucks, HP20 2RT. Open Saturday mornings 10-12.

Small food parcels are distributed after phone referrals and they can offer support in signposting to other agencies. They are open to referrals from schools, for families who may be in need of their services.
