Steven Lambert - Councillor
Steven grew up in South London in a Peabody Trust House, where his parents still live. He graduated from the Open University in June 2005 with a Social Science degree in Politics and Government and is a qualified project and programme manager. Steven had a successful career working for Post Office Ltd for 22 years in various senior roles.
Steven has lived in Aylesbury since 2002 and became a parish councillor for Coldharbour parish council in 2005, and was elected as chairman in May 2006. In 2007 Steven was elected to Aylesbury Vale District Council for Coldharbour Ward and was re-elected in 2011, when he also became the leader of the Liberal Democrat Group. In 2010 Steven was the Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Aylesbury.
He has wide range of interests from reading to cinema, theatre and active outward bound activities such as orienteering, walking/ hiking and bike riding. Steven has a life-long passion for history in particular the Tudor to The Reformation period and is a member of the National Trust, RSPCA and RSPB.
