Assessment recognises our high standards

We are pleased to announce that following an in-depth assessment by the Regulator of Social Housing, the Trust has maintained the highest possible ratings of G1 for governance and V1 for financial viability. This confirms the strong position of the Trust as the leading provider of affordable homes in the area, and the positive and proactive way we are governed to ensure we deliver excellent services to our residents.

Housing Associations are assessed and rated by the Regulator to ensure that they effectively manage their affairs and have financial capacity to deal with a wide range of adverse financial scenarios. The assessment included a detailed review of performance in these areas including site visits and interviews with Board members and senior employees.

Stephen Stringer, Board Chair says:

“Everyone at Vale of Aylesbury Housing is delighted that we have maintained a G1 and V1 rating for governance and financial viability following the in-depth assessment by the Regulator of Social Housing. The outcome reflects our strength in these areas and gives our residents and stakeholders assurance on our ability to deliver on our plans and future aspirations.”
