How do I register for the text messaging service?
All residents need to do is text REGISTER with their full name and address to 07580 663663.
Once registered, residents can text us on the above number at any time using the codes below and they will receive an immediate text back from us with the requested information:
· BAL – to request a current account balance
· BALW – to request a current account balance each week on a Monday
· BALM – to request a current account balance on the first Monday of each month
· PAID – to receive information about their last payment
· RENTCALL – to contact your rent advisor or request a call back

If you change your mobile number you must contact the Trust and let us know. You will need to re-register your new number to continue using the text messaging service.
Do I get charged for the text messaging service?
Receiving texts from the Trust costs nothing. Sending texts is charged at your normal network rate.
How do I stop receiving messages from the text service?
Residents are able to opt out of the service by texting STOP to 07580 663663 at any time.
If you change your mind and wish to start receiving texts again, text REGISTER to the same number.
Can I contact other departments via the text service?
Currently our text service is only for Trust residents to support them with their rent queries.
At present we unfortunately cannot respond to or action any messages that you may send us which are not related to residents’ rent accounts. However we are looking to expand the text messaging service next year.
