Wycliffe End Residents Association was set up at the beginning of 2017, one of their main aims was to hold an event to bring residents who live at Wycliffe End together.  Christmas wreath

A number of years ago the "Adopt-a-scheme" initiative was set up by the Trust in order to help combat loneliness and isolation. This means that each department within the Trust will help to organise at least 2 events per year for their chosen scheme. Click here to read about the sing along event held at Christmas Time.

Blake Morgan logo

5 young residents went on a weeks work placement at Blake Morgan Solicitors, read their stories here  Blake Morgan LLP . This is an annual opportunity for any resident aged 16, if you are interested or would like to register your interest for next years placement email us at comms&communities@vaht.co.uk

Between July and September residents had the opportunity to nominate neighbours who go above and beyond for their community. We recieved 7 nominations who were all deserving of being named their Community Hero. Read more about our Community Hero nominations here Community Hero

 

Enterprise logo

Last year working with Thames Valley Housing and Enterprise Cube we ran a pilot offering residents the opportunity to start and grow their own business.  The course was open to any resident who had an idea and aspirations of working for themselves but didn’t know how or where to start.  Click here to read all about the Business start up course [pdf] 183KB

Our free annual training programme offers a wide variety of courses and workshops covering home and family life, physical and mental wellbeing and developing personal skills.
