Manager’s notes: Bankside is situated by the Grand Union Canal, with its array of Wild Life and ducks. The village hosts many facilities including gift shops and boutiques, which are all a short walking distance from the scheme. Wendover also has a community bus that can be used to take you into Aylesbury to the main town centre, along with a Dial a Ride.

This modern scheme was opened in 1980. It has a large, accessible garden and patio, originally designed by local school children in 2007, for a visit by the Princess Royal.

Communal facilities have been greatly improved recently, with an extended kitchen, scooter storage shed and new respite/guest room. There are a number of regular activities held there for residents, including shopping events, coffee mornings and meals.
