The Trust is totally committed to involving and consulting with residents on this important change to the way we are regulated and is seeking views from SURG, (the Strategic Umbrella Resident Group) about the new TSA standards. Their feed back will enable a response to be given to the TSA by 5 February 2010.
The TSA was created in December 2008 to replace the Housing Corporation as the regulator of social housing. Since this date it has consulted all types of social housing tenants and landlords, including the Trust, to ensure that a single standards framework is developed which will deliver the same level of service and regulatory protection to all tenants irrespective, of who their landlord is.
