Ways to be involved

Working Together for Change

Resident Involvement Pathways

We’ve created lots of different ways for you to get involved, because we recognise that everyone is different; people have different reasons for wanting to get involved, people have different lifestyles and people have different experiences and different amounts of time to commit!

We want to make sure that everyone that wants to has the opportunity to get involved at the level they want, so whatever your situation you should find that there is a way to get involved that is suitable to you. If there isn’t a way suitable for you to get involved and you would like to, feel free to contact the Resident involvement Team, who will be more than happy to discuss your needs.

Pathways to involvement

Pathways to involvementAll of the ways you can get involved have been listed in our "Pathways to Involvement” so if you want, you can have a look through them all. Alternatively we’ve tried to make things a bit easier for you and we’ve arranged the different ways to get involved into three levels, called them Pathway 1, Pathway 2 and Pathway 3.

Pathway 1

At this level you will be able to have a say as an individual. In fact everyone can get involved at this stage with a minimum of time and commitment. More information.

Pathway 2

If you have a bit more time to spare this Pathway may suit you. It will usually mean an ongoing commitment of up to a few hours, several times a year. More information.

Pathway 3
This is for you if you want to have an influence across a wider area. Here you can join an Area Based Committee, help set up a local agreement or even seek election to our Management Board. Often roles on this Pathway develop from lower levels of involvement. More information.
