The Board

The Board has overall responsibility for Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust and all actions taken in the Trust’s name.  The role of the Board is to set the overall aims and objectives of the Trust and to ensure that the organisation is meeting these and keeping within its legal and moral obligations laid down by the Board and the Housing Corporation.  The Board is also responsible for ensuring the financial well-being of the Trust

The duty of the Board is to ensure that the Trust is managed efficiently and effectively.  The Board must also have regard to the Trust’s own Memorandum and Articles, the Housing Corporation’s requirements and Best Practice.
