Silverdale Residents Celebrate Royal Wedding

The Trust’s Adopt-a-Scheme initiative is all about our staff getting together with Supported Housing residents to build relationships and hold social events. 

It isn’t always easy growing older – many elderly people can be living in isolation.  The Trust has 3,361 residents over the age of 65, of which 570 live in our supported housing schemes.  

Adopters organise events like:

• coffee mornings or afternoon tea parties,
• BBQs
• Christmas parties
• games evenings
• sing-a-longs
• gardening  

In fact, anything we can organise or lend a helping hand with.  

Older people who live outside of the schemes are welcome to join us for events – contact us for details.
