Grounds maintenance – Service Standard

Grass Cutting Season

The grass cutting season runs from March to October.

Frequency

Villages: If your property is situated in the villages, your communal lawn will be cut 10 times during the grass cutting season.  Depending on weather conditions, this works out at approximately 21 working days between mowing.

Aylesbury Town: If your property is situated in Aylesbury Town, your communal lawn will be cut 13 times.  Again, depending on weather conditions, this usually works out at 15 working days between mowing.

Service details

The grounds maintenance service includes:

  • Grass Cutting
  • Trimming the edge of the communal lawn
  • Maintaining shrub beds where applicable
  • Hedges (depending on location)

Note: Tree pruning in the communal area can be undertaken as when necessary but is not part of the standard contract for grounds maintenance.

The areas coloured sky blue show the communal grounds that are maintained for leaseholders, which are paid for in your annual service charges.  As a leaseholder, you only contribute a portion towards the costs, as stipulated in your lease.
