Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust

The Community Chest is a partnership funding initiative between the Trust and Aylesbury Vale District Council, set up as part of the Housing Stock Transfer Agreement in 2006.
 
The fund is available to local not-for-profit community groups, will run for ten years from 2007 and has a budget of up to £500,000 per year.

In its first year, the fund has awarded £815,000 to over seventy local voluntary and community organisations within the Vale.
 
The grants can be awarded in three different ways:
 
Micro grants of up to £1,000, which are reviewed monthly,
Project grants up to £25,000 are assessed quarterly by a grants panel. 
Long Term Revenue Funding there are a limited number of three year revenue funds available
