Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust

Even though the Trust is a registered charity itself, we also try to identify other charities, both local and national, that we can partner with or support for the benefit of our residents and their communities.

Fundraising

Our employees frequently enjoy taking part in national fundraising drives. Over recent winter months we have raised almost £1,300 for Children in Need, Jeans for Genes and Macmillan Coffee Morning.

We actively encourage our staff to support charities of their choice, whether it is participating in a major fund raising event or running the school raffle, and we will promote their activities and achievements internally on our intranet.

At Christmas 2007, we produced Trust Christmas Cards in aid of three local charities, Florence Nightingale Hospice Charity, St Mary’s Community Christmas Lunch and Youth Concern, Aylesbury. We also made a donation to the John Hampden School in Wendover, for providing the designs.
