Vijay Patel is a graduate, a qualified accountant with over 30 years experience in Audit, Risk Management, Corporate Governance including 14 years in the Housing sector. He is currently Head of Group Business Assurance and Risk at Affinity Sutton Group, one of the largest and more influential Groups in the country. Vijay also has over 15 years commercial experience from various positions held at John Laing, British Telecom and Rank Group plc.

Vijay is an independent Board Member who joined the Board in April 2007 and sits on the Trust’s Audit Committee, as Chair, and the Regeneration Project Board.

Vijay is also a Trustee of Sportspace - Dacorum Sports Trust
