Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust

Hi, I am Sue Bailey. I have been a Tenant Board Member since September 2007. I have supported the Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust since they took over in 2006 by becoming a member of the resident quality control group and helping to plan the last residents conference.

I have lived on Southcourt for the last 10 years and lived on Prebendal Avenue as a child until I left Aylesbury to do my nurse training. I have four children, who all attend local schools. At the moment, I am studying for an open University degree.

In the past I qualified as a Registered General Nurse in London and then went on to become a school nurse. After having my children I have taken a career break. I have used my time supporting the local community e.g. School Governor, PTA, chair person of the three estates action group and a resident on the neighbourhood action group.

Looking towards the future I am finishing my degree which will give me a change in career. With a view to becoming a teacher.
