Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust

We have established a new Welfare Service to provide free benefits and budget advice, access to the local credit union and banking services, and much more.

With high figures of unclaimed benefits reported nationally and large numbers of people with no access to a bank account, we believe that this will be a popular and useful facility for our more vulnerable residents.

Within the first few weeks of the service running, we identified over £6,000 of unclaimed benefits for the residents who contacted us. 

Welfare Service Advisor Roger King is also working with those residents who have told us they are suffering hardship because of using energy prepayment meters.
