Vale of Aylesbury Housing Trust

After months of preparations, Project Phoenix is really gathering pace. Three families have agreed to be pilot decants, so that we can ensure that the correct procedures are in place. These families successfully moved in September, and are reporting a positive experience.

We currently have 37 properties which we will be using for decanted families while invasive works are carried out in their homes.

We have appointed three removal companies to work with us assisting residents with their moves:

• Robinsons of Aylesbury
• Abbeywood Removals and Storage
• Britannia Bradshaw International

Phoenix House, the project’s show home, is proving a popular facility. There are frequent visitors, and opening times will increase once the decants are under way, to ensure that we have employees on site and residents can get help easily if they need it.
