Independent audit

In June 2009, the Trust was independently inspected by the Audit Commission.

We received an encouraging result of one star (fair) with promising prospects for improvement. You can read the full report here.

The Commission looked in detail at all aspects of the Trust’s work, as well cross-cutting themes, like seeing how easily people with specific needs can access our services, and whether those services afforded good value for money.

The report detailed the Trust’s strengths, and the areas that we needed to work on. From that, we created the Post-inspection Action Plan, which shows how we addressed our weaknesses, and what improvements we made.
